Church Calendars Are On Sale !!!

Gill Young

This years alternative church calendar went on sale at the interval of the first night performance of Calendar Girls and 142 calendars were sold at the perfomances.

The girls performing in the cast decided to make their very own calendar to raise funds for charity and have worked together with Stanley Menzies and Gill Young from All Saints Church in Bramham to create this years “Alternative Church Calendar” and raise funds for their local church.

The calendars are £8 are available from the village shop or you can also reserve a copy by e-mailing Gill Young.

The photographs have been taken by two local photographers, Rachel Stewart from “Evelyn and her sweet peas” and Stephen Turnbull.

The calendar is dated Sept 2013 to Dec 2014… so an additional bonus of 4 extra months that fits in perfectly with the start of the new school term.

There is a limited supply of 300 calendars being printed for sale so make sure you get your copy so you are not disappointed.

Fifty residents out "Beating The Bounds" of the Parish

Alison Mackie

What a glorious day for “Beating the Bounds” of Bramham parish today.

Fifty locals (+ 3 doggies) walked the 14.2 mile parish boundary and enjoyed a picnic at Terry Lug Cottages. Big thank-you to Neil Ferres and Stanley Menzies for organising the day and Ann Palmer for organising the transport and the kind hospitality we received at Terry Lug.
