Leeds Festival

Leeds Festival

Alison Mackie

Leeds Festival is only a few days away and residents will have now received their tickets through the post and can start looking forward to 4 days of entertainment here in our village.

The village is very lucky to receive so many guest tickets to the event and be able to distribute them to residents at a much reduced price and we want to thank Festival Republic for continuing this each year.

Below is a little more information about the weekend ahead.

As in previous years, residents must swap their ticket for a wristband at the Guest List Porta-cabin. It is in the Yellow Gate - situated on Thorner / Bramham Road by the north end of Mangrill Lane bridleway.

Ticket holders will need to bring Photo-ID as proof of identity in order to receive their wristband which will allow entry to the festival.  Passport, Driving licence, Citizen Card, Proof GB , Validate, Young Scot

Wristbands are not transferable loose / damaged / reused wristbands will not be allowed entry.

All residents must travel externally to Yellow Gate on first time entry (subject to the times specified below) - they cannot access the Guest List via the public vehicle gates or internally via the site. Each ticket holder must go in person and once they have their wristband they can come and go freely.

Resident parking and drop off / pick up is inside the Nova Scotia car park on Thorner Road. From Nova Scotia follow the short route through the woods to the Guest List porta-cabin. Please cross any vehicle routes as directed by marshals

The shuttle bus organised by Bramham Parish Council will travel from the village square to the Yellow Gate running from   12.00 .noontill Friday, Saturday and Sunday  (last bus will leave the site at approx. 02.45am)

The Guest List porta-cabin opens at 2pm on Wednesday 24th August along with the Guest Campsite. The Guest List opens thereafter at 9am and closes at 9pm each evening. You are unable to collect your wristband outside of these times on first time entry. The arena will not open until around 7pm Thursday 25st August .

For a list of prohibited items onsite, please see

In addition to the items not allowed in the campsites, the following items will not be allowed in the arena or guest arena:
