Help for Victims Consultation

Alison Mackie

Dear resident

I have launched a new consultation entitled ‘Your Priorities, Your Plan’ to find out what matters to the public, police and partners across the county to inform the new Police and Crime Plan for 2016-21.

The consultation involves a survey on your priorities, but will also see me talking to communities in person over the coming months.

The new Police and Crime Plan will set the direction for policing and community safety for the next five years. The new plan will be revealed in September and will list emerging and existing priorities.

I would be very grateful if you could spare some time to fill in the survey and encourage your family, friends and colleagues to do the same. The more I hear from people the more I can understand what needs to be done to continue to ensure you and your family in our communities are safe and feel safe.

A web chat will also take place in June where people can log on and tell me what matters to you.

For more information and to complete the survey visit www.westyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk/get-involved/your-priorities-your-plan.aspx, or to request a survey call (01924) 294000.

Best wishes
