The Flood Advisory Service roadshow will be visiting Leeds City Centre on 19th - 21st January outside of the Art Gallery, on The Headrow.
The Flood Advisory Service is a not-for-profit independent organisation designed to reach out to local communities at risk of flooding, offering advice, information and practical steps that can be taken to help reduce the risk of flooding to properties. It comes in the form of a large 40’ articulated trailer complete with informational screens, flood risk checkers, sample emergency flood plans as well as a suite of Kitemark flood mitigation product samples from a variety of suppliers. The service is free and visitors can simply come on board, chat over a hot drink about their individual flood risk. More information can be found on the Flood Advisory Service at www.floodadvisoryservice.co.uk
The roadshow trailer opening times are: Tuesday 19th January from 12 noon to 19.00 hrs; Wednesday 20th January 10.00 to 19.00 hrs; Thursday 21st January 10.00 to 14.00 hrs. We are working with various stakeholders who will be represented at the event over the three days, including Leeds City Council, flood action groups and Leeds City Fire & Rescue.
