For many years Bramham has been "blooming" marvellous and that is all due to Ernest and Meryl Nicols and Gill Young who planted the first flower bed over 10 years ago.
They have now decided to take a step back from the day to day running and maintaining Bramham in Bloom and we are delighted that Lynne Marshall has agreed to become the new chairman. New committee members have also joined Rochelle Paige, Katie Pirie, Alison French and Pam Corrigan have joined the Bramham in Bloom team and it is great to see new people carrying on the legacy created by Ernest, Meryl and Gill.
There are also a good number of people who actually take care of the flower beds - and of course the sponsors who all contribute to Bramham looking so lovely throughout the seasons.
Engraved rose bowls were presented to Ernest and Meryl Nichols and Gill Young on behalf of Leeds in Bloom. A commemorative tree will be planted at Bowcliffe Road corner on behalf of the Parish Council to mark their ten year achievement and dedication to Bramham in Bloom.
