If you witness dog fouling please report it ... keep Bramham clean and tidy

Bramham Parish Council

Village campaigns, resident litter picks and alerting Leeds City Council to waste issues are all having a positive impact on our village and Bramham is looking clean and tidy. But there is more we can do…

Dog fouling remains to be a problem and particularly on the playing field and around the school grounds. It is the responsibility of the dog owner or the person in charge of the dog to clear up any dog foul left by their dog. Failure to do so is an offence and a health hazard. A fixed penalty notice of £75 will be issued to those who fail to clean up after their dog. Being unaware that the dog has fouled, or not having suitable means of removing the faeces or nowhere to dispose of them is not a reasonable excuse for failing to clean up after a dog. Dog waste can be placed in the village waste bins or taken home and placed in the black bin.

Please report it …
You can help to keep our village tidy by reporting dog fouling to the Environmental Action Service by telephone 0113 336 7676 or e mail environmental.action@leeds.gov.uk quoting reference 13/1352/D_FOUL. Please provide your details and location, time and date of the waste and a photograph if possible.

Thank-you for helping to create a village that we can all be proud of.
