Bramham Runners was formed 6 years ago by a group of like-minded people who enjoy running with others.
No formalities, no joining fees and no membership commitments; everyone from Bramham and surrounding villages are welcome to join us. The more the merrier!
Running is a great form of exercise and is a fantastic way to get active, keep fit and stay healthy. No matter how far or how fast you want to run we always plan routes to suit the needs of everyone, be it 1 mile or 1 marathon!
We try to encourage people to enter local events too, including the Bramham Park Major Series, the Bramham Park 10km and more recently Wetherby and Tadcaster Triathlons. Why not set yourself a challenge and enter one of these events this year? If you are new to running or want to get back into it, feel free to come along.
If really running isn’t your thing, there is also a road cycling group who often go out together and hopefully a mountain biking group which will be new for 2015.
If you want to get involved, come and meet us in the Village Square outside the Red Lion on:
Tuesdays @ 6pm – gentle 2-3 mile route for power-walkers or joggers
Tuesdays @ 6pm – 4, 5 or 6 mile options with occasional hills and sprints
Fridays @ 5.30pm – a gentle circuit of 3 to 4 miles to ease you into the weekend
Sundays @ 10.00am – routes to suit all, normally off-road or in Bramham Park
For more information, please email Bramham Runners. We are always looking forward to seeing new faces!
