The Council has again looked at the cost of installing a toilet and running water in the Senior Citizens’ Centre. As there is currently no connection to drains or water it is a bigger job than you might think, and will cost in the region of £25,000. This is without any other restoration work, and without the additional running costs that would result.
The shelter It is currently not heavily used, but the question is would it be used more with the additional facilities. We recognize that it is an important focal point in the village, but is this enough to justify the spend?
